The guide aims to provide a starting point for researching corporate law and related topics. It should be noted that corporate law is primarily controlled by state law. Since Delaware law is particularly important in this area and because most graduates of this law school practice in California, particular attention is paid to Delaware and California resources.

This guide is organized as follows:

Delaware & California Primary Sources - Explains how to find statutory, regulatory, and case law using Westlaw, Lexis Advance, and Bloomberg Law

State Agency Resources - Identifies relevant state departments in Delaware and California that handle matters related to businesses
